You may experience persistent, unchanged or recurrent back pain after an acute episode, possibly accompanied by radiating pain or leg weakness.     If you have persistent back pain, your GP may advise you for a scan like MRI or CT, however that would not change your treatment plan.

    No more bed rest! It is ok to move and often you are afraid that movement will worsen the symptoms. However, the less you move, the worse the problem could get.
  5. Do not fear of bending and lifting
